Ceremony
The ceremony will take place Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 4:30 PM overlooking Hunter Lake on the grounds of The Lodges at Gettysburg.
In the event that Mother Nature has alternative plans on September 8th, no worries... we do too!
NOTE: A small, downhill pathway leads to the ceremony site. Please keep this in mind when selecting footwear. Motorized transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony site will be provided as needed or the groomsmen will provide free piggy back rides
Reception
Time to celebrate!
Cocktail Hour will start immediately after the ceremony. It will take place at Gloryridge, which is within walking distance of the ceremony site. Take time to enjoy delicious appetizers and "sip" on your preferred beverage, as you catch up with friends and family and take in breathtaking views of Little Roundtop and the battlefields of Gettysburg.
The reception will take place in the Gloryridge Ballroom. Dinner will start around 6:30 PM and the reception will conclude around 10:30 PM.
For those interested in keeping the party alive, we will continue celebrating at some of the lodges or if weather allows, potentially use the fire pit by the lake.
Bridal Party
Bridesmaids and one of Andrea's first memories of her...
Allison Smith Allison and I met as kindergartners in Miss Pauline's dance class, and we would have tea parties in the middle of the dance floor.
Jackie Donovan Jackie always did a gymnastics routine in the Frankstown Elementary Talent Show, and I was always incredibly jealous of her skills.
Jessica Zerbee Jess (sporting her fashion-forward hairstyle) was traded to our basketball team in elementary school and remained a teammate until my last college game.
Maggie Zink Maggie and I met in 7th grade when she joined our basketball team. Despite spending countless hours with her in high school, her ability to take charges never rubbed off on me.
Renee Freeden Renee and I met my sophomore year at our Lycoming Basketball Team Camp. She was afraid of me, and I was afraid of anyone from New Jersey.
Groomsmen and one of Ben's first memories of him...
Andy Bartels Andy and I were 2 of the fastest guys in elementary school...and then we took our talents to the weight room.
Dan Benner Dan and I became close in high school wearing short shorts as teammates on the cross country team.
Jake McDonough Jake and I met at Lycoming's Freshmen Orientation. Needless to say, security was called the first night, and it certainly was not the last time.
Paul Daft Paul and I met in middle school. We rode the bus together and looked forward to playing Zelda and trying to acquire the Ocarina of Time.
Ryan Warfield Ryan and I met in kindergarten when I dared him to show Mrs. Thrush his middle finger. He still hasn't forgiven me.
Travis Cooper Travis and I met shortly after I started dating Andrea, and his trips to Lycoming always made for a good time.
Zachary Sherman First memories of my brother, Zac, include bodily fluids and all the wonderful things babies do. He has come a long way since then.
Special Attendants include cousins of the bride and groom: Hana Alawneh, Bergen Leidy, Reed Spenik, and Mason Barnes
